The Shift in Your 30s

In your 30s, cellular turnover begins to slow down, and collagen production starts a steady decline. You might notice early signs of aging, such as fine lines around the eyes, duller skin, or lingering hyperpigmentation.

The Non-Negotiables

1. Daily Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen

This remains the number one anti-aging product. Up to 90% of visible skin aging is caused by sun exposure. Apply an SPF 30 or higher every single day.

2. Retinoids

If you haven't started using a retinoid (retinol, retinaldehyde, or prescription tretinoin), your 30s are the time. Retinoids stimulate collagen production, speed up cell turnover, and help fade dark spots.

3. Antioxidant Serum (Vitamin C)

A daily antioxidant serum protects the skin from free radical damage caused by UV rays and pollution, while also brightening the complexion.

4. Exfoliating Acids (AHAs/BHAs)

Incorporate a chemical exfoliant a few times a week to slough off dead skin cells, helping to maintain a radiant glow and smooth texture.
